International Shipping

ReSource Partner offers the ability to rate International shipments via major carriers. While ReSource provides a retail prices to charge your customer, in most cases you will need to process labels externally (carrier waybill, carrier web site, etc.).

The ability to produce shipping labels, in ReSource, is limited to the following:

UPS: Rated in ReSource, label processed directly in UPS Worldship
FedEx: Rated in ReSource, label can be processed in ReSource
DHL: Rated in ReSource, label can be processed in ReSource
USPS: Rated in ReSource, but processed via manual USPS forms.

Confirm Each Shipment With The Carrier

International shipping is complex. It is our strong recommendation that you confirm with the Carrier the following on each and every International shipment:

Service availability
ETA
Whether Extended Area Surcharge ( EAS) applies to the destination

Failure to do so could expose you to significant profit loss if you do not collect fees due you and charged you by the carrier. Your customer needs to understand that rating and processing international shipments is a task requiring more time than a domestic shipment.

ITN Number

When entering commodities and the value crosses $2,500.00, the system will remind you that an ITN from an AES filing is probably required.
