Printing - Summary

Printing from ReSource Partner first requires that you can print from Windows.  This means that each printing device in your store needs to be able to produce a successful Windows test page, proving that the appropriate printing function has been installed in Windows.

You should obtain printer driver software from each printer manufacturer, install in Windows, confirm that it can produce a Windows test page.  Then you will designate that printer for use within ReSource

Supported Printers

There are dozens if not hundreds of receipt, label, and report printer models available today.  When we say a Supported Printer, we mean it is a printer that we have had the opportunity to test first.  Other printers might work, others might not.   They may produce receipts that are too long, font too small, etc.    To get the best possible results, please contact us first for a list of printers we have tested, before purchase.  Of course, we would be happy to provide a list of printers we are currently selling.  Contact ReSource Sales for more information.

Label Printers

You will need a label printer for each processing machine.  Obtain a label printer that uses the Eltron programming language standard (2442, 2844, 450).  We do not support label printers that use other label standard languages (Zebra 500/505) or others

Report (Plain Paper) Printers

You will need to designate a printer in your store for report printing.  This can be a shared printer, such as a copier.  It must be the Windows default printer on each POS machine in the store.
