Setup screens access allow you to customize your software.
Sections below discuss important setup tasks
These tasks need to be completed prior to using your ReSource Partner software for shipping tasks and at the counter.
The ReSource software comes to you with preset defaults. These settings represent the way the majority of our customers operate the software and are consistent with the way in which the program is designed to operate.
The software will also have many settings, along with some common inventory items, and retail shipping rates loaded as a starting point.
In this section, you will learn how to take the generic setup and customize it to the way you operate your store. There are some areas you will want to set up right away, and others that you will change after you have used the software for a while.
Store InformationThis area includes 10 tabs. Some will need your immediate attention. Company, Employees, General, Taxes, and AR are items you will want to setup now. Security, Representative, Marketing, Advanced System Options, and Advanced System Preferences can be areas you look at after you have built a comfort level in using the program. To access Store Information, at the Menu Bar click on File, Program Setup, Store Information.

Shipping Setup
This area includes 6 tabs.
These tabs configure the shipping functionality in ReSource Partner. Here you designate your label printers, setup carrier accounts, and configure how you wish the shipping processed to be conducted. Some of this information will need your immediate attention before you can start shipping
The Address, Printers, Print Options, Carrier, Process Options, and Email Setup tabs contain information that you will want to setup now.
To access Shipping Setup, at the Menu Bar click on File, Program Setup, Shipping Setup

Hardware SetupPrinters: There is a separate printer setup for your ReSource POS . This is accessed at the Menu Bar by clicking on File, Printer Setup.
Shipping Reports, Mailbox, and Label Printers: These are configured in Shipping Setup. Click File , Program Setup, Shipping Setup, then click Printers.
Cash Drawer: At the Menu Bar click on File, Program Setup, Store Information, then click the Advanced System Options Tab.
Scales: Scales are configured at FILE | Program Setup | Rating Setup.
