Sets the text and options for the Confirmation Receipt.
Report Printer: This will be the printer for your manifests, mailboxes, and similar reports
Thermal Label Printer: This will be the label printer for your FedEx packages
Thermal Tag Printer: If you have a Thermal Tag printer, you can designate this printer here. Click the Setup button to specify the number of tags you wish to print for each carrier. NOTE: A Thermal Tag Printer is a specialized printer used to produce small label tags, typically approximately 3 inches square. It is typically only used with a manual postage meter.
Receipt Printer: Pick your receipt printer from this list
Confirmation Receipt Printer: Usually also the same as your Receipt Printer. If you are printing loss disclaimer receipts or similar following each package, this is the printer you will use for that task.
All printers have to be installed and tested in Windows prior to defining them at this screen. See Hardware Setup for more information
This option provides a detailed receipt allowing you to provide shipping detail information to your customer with a signature line for the customer to verify the information. This is an additional receipt beyond the POS receipt the customer is given when the sale is completed.
Normally, the Confirmation Receipt is retained by the store as the customer signs it to acknowledge a Loss Damage Waiver. There is an option to print more than one copy.
Enabling Confirmation Receipt Preview allows you to choose whether or not to print the detail receipt, printing it only on more complex shipments.
From the list of options, check those boxes for information you wish to have printed on your confirmation receipt.
While the system does have some predefined language provided for you, you can revise the Disclaimer to match the policy used in your store. This section can be revised to meet your specific needs.
If you have selected the option to print a confirmation receipt, click on the Print Test Confirmation button. If the confirmation receipt is not feeding far enough out of the printer to allow a clear tear-off for customer signature, increase the number in Confirmation Receipt Feed Lines.
