Carrier Tab - Fuel Surcharges - Shipping Setup

Fuel Surcharge Tab displays the fuel surcharges that the system uses for retail price calculation are managed.

Display/Change Fuel Surcharges Percentages

If you click this button, the current Fuel Surcharges in effect will be downloaded, replacing whatever is currently on your system. A series of screens will be displayed showing you the current fuel surcharge costs and retail price charged by the system, along with their effective date ranges

Rates shown in black (above) are the rates currently in effect
Rates shown in red are cost rates loaded on your system, but their effective date is in the future. They have not been implemented yet.

Charge Only Cost For Fuel Surcharge

Checking this option will use your cost, without markup or margin, for the calculation of retail price.

Round To The Nearest

This option allows you to round the calculated retail price to the nearest X cents.

For example, if the calculated retail price for a shipment is 7.52, and the rounding is set to .10, the resulting price will be $7.60
