Please see the Endicia DAZzle Setup Topic.

Which Endicia service plan do customers have to use?

Must have Premium Service plan.

Do I get a discount on my USPS shipping rates?

There is not a tier discount program for USPS.  However, users of Endicia DAZzle are classified as Commercial Based Shippers.  CM shippers enjoy a discount on postage printed via DAZzle and Printable Postage.  This discount is not reflected in the ReSource USPS rate tables, so the cost shown in ReSource is slightly higher than what is actually deducted.

Does the DAZzle application need to be open with ReSource?

No, DAZzle or Printable Postage does not need to be open for ReSource to print postage labels.

Do I have to update USPS rates in DAZzle?

DAZzle downloads any rate changes automatically so there is no special update for rates.

What is Steath Mode?

Customers can chose to have the label printed out with the total postage charges masked out. This is called DAZzle Stealth Mode.

Does DAZzle have to be in Stealth mode?

No, To allow you to market USPS postage at the front counter and not show your cost, ReSource activates the Stealth mode for you.

Can I Add Insurance through ReSource with the DAZzle interface?

Because of the limitations inside of DAZzle with Stealth Mode on USPS insurance is a manual process.  Application of insurance is not automatically applied during processing.  For all insured items under $50.00 you will need to fill out the USPS form 3813, for items over $50.00 use the USPS form 3813P. The form and your package will need to be taken to a USPS retail counter for shipping.

Can Labels Be Reprinted?

If you get a paper jam when you print your postage, you can recover easily, but you must act quickly! Within 24 hours, fix the printer, highlight the misprinted item in the Postage Log, and choose Reprint.

What special services are supported with DAZzle?

All special services we support are supported by DAZzle with the exception of Special Handling and Merchandise Return. If a user attempts to process a parcel with either of these services (and DAZzle is enabled), the shipping program will give the user the message, " Endicia's DAZzle program does not support Special Handling or Merchandise Return. You need to apply postage from another source."

How do you change the return address in DAZzle?

In DAZzle click on Layout and then Return Address. Enter the correct address info then click on OK.

How do we setup the DAZzle program on a client machine?

Each system that will be shipping though DAZzle will need to have a copy of DAZzle installed on it. They will all share one common postage account and log.

To install on remote (client) machines in your store, you install the software just as you would on a server, but using the same account number.
