Mail Forwarding services allow you to process, and forward to an alternative address, mail items for customers, for a fee.

With the integration to the POS and Shipping program, when you select a mail forwarding address from the Ship To list, the system will give the option to post the charges to the mail forwarding account.
At the POS screen, enter the customer’s ID # or click on the Customer Lookup button
At the Customer Lookup screen, click on the desired button at the top of the form to sort the database by that field. Data will sort in either ascending or descending order. Once sorted if you wish to reverse the order, re-click the desired button.
Start typing the appropriate information for the sort field selected. The program will drill down until it either finds the customer or runs out of matching information.
If your customer in is in the database, they will be highlighted. Double click on the customer to select or click on the customer to select and click on the Use button.
If the customer is not in the database, you will need to click on the New button to enter this customer in your database.
You will return to the POS screen. The customer name and the company name if applicable will be displayed to the right of the Customer Lookup button.
At the POS screen, click on the Shipping button
Click on the Ship To Lookup button
Select the correct mail forwarding address, identified with a MF before the name in the list,and click on the USE button.
Follow the appropriate steps for the mode of shipment desired
After you have clicked on the Process button, the Mail Forwarding form will appear. To have these charges debit the Mailing Deposit in Mailbox as payment, click on the Apply button. If you wish the charges to go the POS screen to use another method of payment, click on the Cancel button.
If you clicked the Apply button on the Mail Forwarding form, and have select the Mail Forwarding process fee option in Mailbox setup, you will see the message box below. Click on the appropriate button.
You will return to the Main screen.
The report, Mail Forwarding Activity lists the forwarding deposits used for forwarding mail in the selected time. This is found in the Mailbox category in the Reports screen.
