Special Services

 

Specials (formal name is Accessorials) are additional services added to the base shipping charge.  You add these services by clicking the Specials button, then selecting the services.

 

Clicking the Specials button on the Shipping Screen will bring up the Specials screen, for the entry of special services applicable to this shipment.

 

The Specials listed when you click on the Specials button orient themselves to the Carrier/Service selected, or even the day of week selected (i.e. Saturday delivery only shows for Thursday and Friday, for only the services that have this available).  If you select an accountable item i.e. certified, insured, etc., you will be prompted to enter the number. There are a number of Special Services supported by ReSource.  

 

When Specials is opened, select which special service you wish to add to the base shipment.  You can add more than one special if desired.  Click OK when finished.  Shipment Total will increase by the retail charge of the Specials selected.

 

The Specials button is only enabled after you enter the shipment information ( ZIP , Weight, Dimensions, Service, etc.)
