Customize The Shipping Screen

You have the ability to rearrange the order of services in any manner you wish.  

The system is installed with a suggested Carrier Order, grouped by carrier horizontally and then by service.  But you can group your letter services in one row, your package services in another.  The choice is yours.  Use the procedure below.

The system will always automatically check service and dimensional rules on the cell in the upper left of the grid.  Therefore you should select a service for that cell that is as common as possible to avoid persistent service availability advisory messages.

Add / Change Services On Your Shipping Screen

The following steps need to be performed on your Server.  When Finished ReSource needs to be closed and re-opened on your client machines.

• At the Shipping Screen, hold down the Ctrl key and press the F1 key.  

• The Setup listing on the Menu Bar should be dark and selectable as is shown (it is normally grey - you may have to hit Cntrl - F1 a couple of times)

• For each Carrier/Service button you wish to assign to a new position on the Rate Shopper screen, position the mouse on the Class of Service button you wish to change and right-click to select.

• Right click, (press the right hand button on the mouse) a list of all available Carrier/Services will be displayed.

• Left click (press the left hand button on the mouse) on the service you want for this button.

• The screen will return to the rate shopper screen.

• Repeat the process until all Services are set the way you want them to appear on the Rate Shopper screen both vertically and horizontally.

• When you are finished positioning the buttons, click Exit on the Shipping Screen.

• Reopen ReSource on any client machines
