Carrier Tab - Shipping Setup

The Carrier Tab contains sub-tabs for each carrier's automation setup information.  

To begin producing shipping labels automatically, you will need to fill out information on each of these tabs.

Fuel Surcharges are managed in this setup area as well.

UPS

• Obtain a UPS account number

• Install UPS Worldship and test that their software can process a UPS shipment.

• Configure your account and other settings on the UPS tab above

Federal Express & FedEx Ground

• Obtain a FedEx account number (you may be issued identical or different numbers from FedEx depending on how your account is configured.  This is normal)

• Enter your account information on the FedEx tab above

• Register API and obtain a processing meter number

USPS

• If using Dazzle to process USPS labels, you need to first obtain a Dazzle account

• View the DAZzle/Instapostage Setup Topics for installation and setup information.

• Test that Dazzle can successfully produce a test shipment

• Configure Dazzle information on the USPS tab above.

• If you are not using Dazzle, there are no setup tasks on this tab.

DHL

• DHL Account Number and RSA membership required for DHL International rates to display .

OTHER

• Configures a button to the Other Carrier form to launch your web browser to get online shipping quotes from your Favorite LTL Carrier.
